Shirley Ann “Sissy” Calvert, age 77, of Summertown, TN passed away Wednesday, May 05, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Summertown, TN, retired owner of Sissy’s Daycare, and a member of Chapel Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vestal and Dorothy Willett Wyrick.
She is survived by two daughters, Shelia Carroll (Daniel) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Taye Calvert (Zack) of Mt. Pleasant, TN; four sons, Ricky Calvert of Lawrenceburg, TN, Nicky Calvert of Summertown, TN, Denny Calvert (Leah) of Ethridge, TN, and Joey Calvert of Summertown, TN; one sister, Karen McKennon of Mt. Pleasant, TN; three brothers, Johnny Wyrick of Summertown, TN, Bobby Wyrick (Mitzi) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Jimmy Wyrick (Marquette) of Lawrenceburg, TN; special friend, Richard Calvert of Summertown, TN; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 07, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 08, 2021, with Aaron Battey officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
