Mrs. Faye Nell Ryan Yancey, age 90 of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Yancey was born on November 30, 1930 in Morgan County to the late Randolph and Ruby Ryan. She spent many years working at Monsanto in Decatur where she retired. Mrs. Yancey was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Yancey will be forever remembered by her husband, Ronald B. Yancey; sister, Martha Sue (Bill) Ray; ten nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Rachel A. Pierre.
In addition to her beloved parents; Mrs. Yancey is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Ryan & R.C. Ryan; sisters, Florence Ryan & Betty Jo Ryan.
Funeral service will take place at the Brindlee Mtn Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday – May 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at the Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brindlee Mtn Chapel on Thursday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
