Larry Lee Smith Larry’s Great Adventure!

Larry Lee Smith started his journey on September 23, 1946 in Clanton, Alabama. Born to William Coleman Smith and Myrtice Pearl Posey and most important, adoring Grandson of Momo

Pit Stops Along the Path..
Larry enlisted in the Air Force on December 21, 1965 and retired on March 31, 1994. He spent 29 years serving our country, while traveling around the world working in multiple exciting and meticulous job fields.

After retirement, Larry went back to work in the Civil Service where he retired once again in 2018.

Larry had a passion for cars and his most favorite job was selling cars, where he could use his “lightening lips” skills to help those needing a new ride!

A Passenger Joined Him..
On July 29, 1970, he married his military overseas tour “Sweetheart” Somdet (Niki) Smith in
Nong Khai, Thailand

And More Passengers…
Daughters Carolyn (Troy), Sherry (Matt) and his HERD of Grandkids: Tory (Scott), Josh, Danielle (Josh), Brett, Kyler, RyLee,
Christian (Laura), Mason, Kayden, Daniel, MadieRae, LeaLea, Jack and Harper. Along with the Great Grandkids:
Brayden, Riley, Isa, Braden, Cory, Hannah, Kinzer and Callie.

One HELL of a Ride…
Larry was gifted with social skills and a knack for fixing things no matter the size of the task. The many people who had the pleasure of meeting Larry enjoyed his stories and admired his dedication to a hard work ethic. Although the end of the road has arrived, our memories and laughs along the way will always be in our hearts and minds. HAPPY TRAILS!!!

Larry’s Adventure Ended on April 28, 2021.

Visitation will be held at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. The family will receive guests beginning at 11am.
