Teresa Ann Porter, 64 of Haleyville passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham following an extended illness.
Teresa was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church. She loved the piano where as a child she had such an ear for music that she was playing flawlessly after only a month of piano lessons.
She was a Registered Nurse and worked for Russellville Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Lee (Amy) Mobley and Joshua Mobley; grandchildren Alyssa Mobley, Hayden Mobley and Gabriella Mobley; father Samuel (Margaret) Porter and sister Sheila Porter.
She was preceded in death by her mother Doris Porter.
Visitation will be held Saturday May 1, 2021 at New Bethlehem Baptist Church from 11:30am until 1:00pm with the funeral following at 1:00pm. Bro Merrell Potter will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery .
