Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Overman, age 81, are scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Henderson County Memory Gardens. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Overman passed away late Tuesday in Lexington. She was born January 21, 1940 in Henderson County to the late A. W. “Bill” and Alice Smith Havener. She was a former Johnson Controls employee. Mrs. Overman was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Joe Harold Overman; two brothers, James “Ikey” Havener and Billy Joe Havener; and a sister, Imojean Yates. Survivors include her only son, Marty Overman; four grandchildren, Wesley Overman, Daniel Willis, Tiffany Hensley, and Bethany Ennis; and five great grandchildren.
