Horace W. Taylor, age 73, of Sweetwater, formerly of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away 6:15 A.M. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home. He was a member of 411 Chapel Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War and a retired truck driver after 30 years. Preceded in death by wife Mary R. Stults Taylor, parents Jasper & Ruthie Taylor, brothers Doyal Taylor, Wilton “Red” Taylor and Lyndon “Pete” Taylor.

Funeral 7:00 P.M. Monday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Michael McLemore officiating. Interment 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, Sweetwater Memorial Park, Rev. Dwayne Leming officiating with military honors provided by U.S. Army, Sweetwater VFW Post 5156 and DAV Chapter 93. Family will receive friends 5:00- 7:00 PM Monday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
