Betty Joyce Harness, 88 of Hartselle, AL, passed away on April 21, 2021 at her residence.
Graveside Service will be Saturday April 24, 2021 at 2 P.M. at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday April 23, 2021 from 6-8 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Harness was born June 9, 1932 in Phil Campbell, AL; to Rufus and Gertrude Herring.
She retired after 36 years at Redstone Arsenal as a civil service secretary. Mrs. Harness was a member of East Highland Baptist church in Hartselle, AL.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerald “Jerry” Harness, three brothers Thomas Lee Herring, Ralph Herring, and James Herring.
