Pedestrian Injured In Hit-And-Run; ALEA Looking For Information

MADISON-The Alabama Law Enforcement issued a statement concerning a pedestrian who has been hit by a vehicle that left the scene of the accident.  ALEA is looking for anyone who may have any information on this crash:

“A single-vehicle crash at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, has left a pedestrian injured. 

The pedestrian was struck from behind by a white commercial van that left the scene of the incident, and its driver remains unidentified.

The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment following the crash, which occurred on Rustic Cedar Lane near Capshaw Road, approximately one mile north of Madison.

ALEA Troopers request anyone with information regarding this crash contact the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Decatur Highway Patrol Post at (256) 353-0631. Troopers continue to investigate, and nothing further is available at this time.”
