Torey Devonte Brooks
ATHENS-Athens Police chief Floyd Johnson issued a statement regarding the arrest of a suspect on Friday, April 166. The suspect has been charged with sex abuse of a minor:
“Torey Devonte Brooks was arrested Friday afternoon on a warrant for sex abuse first degree.
The victim in this case is 10 years old. The victim is a relative of the offender. Lieutenant Bret Constable investigated the case and obtained the warrant for Brooks arrest.
Brooks was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail. The investigation into this case is continuing.”
