Thomas Wade Hughes, 50, of Florence, AL, passed away April 11, 2021 at Helen Keller Hospital. Thomas was a carpenter by trade and native of Florence, AL. Thomas is survived by: Daughters: Jessica Gist & Deonna Gist Brothers: Frank Hughes, Roger Hughes, Robert Hughes, Larry Hughes, and Thomas Hughes Sisters: Rita Hughes, Susan Hughes, and Mary Smith He was preceded in death by: Parents: Louis Elmer Hughes and Peggy W. Tesner Hughes Brothers: Harold Hughes, James Hughes, and Kevin Hughes There will be a private memorial service held for Thomas at Greenhill Funeral Home with Steve Simpson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with the funeral costs or to make a donation to your favorite charity in Thomas’ memory.
