Ocie Mae Hardy Ocie Mae Hardy passed away on Friday April 9, 2021 at NHC in Pulaski. She was born June 13, 1943 in Bessemer, AL. and was 77 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, granny, and aunt. She worked many years as medical transcriptionist at Hillside Hospital and Maury Regional. She loved to cook and spend time with family & reading a good book.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

She is preceded in death by her parents Truman & Annie Bell Johnson. Brothers Howard & James Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Thomas Hardy of Diana, TN
Daughter, Sherry (Mike) Sands of Killen, AL
Son, Tommy (Scarlet) Hardy of Ooltewah, TN
Son, Danny (Melissa) Hardy of Diana, TN
Grandchildren, Leslie, Haley, Lillie, Jack, Samantha, Shannon
Brother, Rev. Bill (Joyce) Johnson of Danville, VA
Several nieces and nephews survive.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Ocie Mae Hardy.

Benjamin Michael Pitt, age 46 passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11am, Tuesday April 13th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Pastor William Little officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 4pm to 8pm on Monday, April 12th and 10am until time of service on Tuesday, April 13th at the funeral home. He was born in Madison, TN on March 7, 1975 to William Pitt and Dani Runyon Pitt. He served in the US Army as a Gunner with the 101st Airborne and served in Afghanistan. He was a talented musician and loved playing music. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William C. Pitt, Jr and Don Runyon. He is survived by son, Isaiah Pitt of IL; daughter, Daniella Pitt of WI; father, William Pitt of Madison; mother, Dani Pitt of IL; grandmother, Thelma Pitt of Greenbrier and one grandson.
