Walter Richard Kilgore, age 87 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at his residence.
Graveside services will be Monday, March 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. John Pinion will officiate.
Mr. Kilgore was preceded in death by his Father-Johnny Kilgore; Mother-Clarissa Kilgore; Brothers-P.C., Norman, Billy and Kelcie Kilgore; Sisters-Meda Alexander, Ruby Chambers, Verna Mae Nichols and Grovie Sherer.
He is survived by his Wife of 69 years-Bernice Kilgore; Daughters-Deb Deason (Dewayne) and Janice Trotter; Sons-Steven Kilgore and Kevin Kilgore (Michelle); Sister-Gayree Freeman; Grandchildren-Jessica Vickery (Daniel), Kyle Christian, Tyler Kilgore (Haley), Blake Hopper (Chris); Great Grandchildren-Lawson Christian, Jax Hopper, Brycen Hopper, Nolan Christian and Owen Vickery.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Christian, Tyler Kilgore, Daniel Vickery and Dewayne Deason.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Walker County Farmer’s Market in memory of Walter Kilgore at Synovus Bank in the Walker County Farmer’s Market Account.
