Kevin Cameron Cook, age 50 of Elora passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at St. Thomas West in Nashville with his loving family by his side. A native of Lincoln County, he was born on July 12, 1970 to George Kay and Carolyn Louise Wright Cook. He was employed for many years as a truck driver and started his driving career at 21. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteers football fan and in his free time he loved to have cookouts with his family and friends. His true passion was just loving life and enjoying every day with his family and especially his grandson. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rosa B. and S.J. Wright; and his paternal grandparents B.O. and Savannah Cook. He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Cook of Elora; children, Myranda (Garrett) Kimbro of Huntland, Briley (Toby) Cook of Lawrenceburg, Ethan Cook of Huntland, Evan Hare of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Westyn Kimbro, Bexley Parham; parents, George Kay and Carolyn Wright Cook of Elora; siblings, Karen (Jerry) Floyd of Georgia, Kerri (Jonas) Harmond of Winchester; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. There are no services scheduled at this time. The family does request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Citizens Community Bank for his children’s college fund.
