Betty Jewel Grissom, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski, TN.
She was born in McMinnville, TN, on April 23, 1941 to the late James Newton and Mattie Lou Rogers Rutledge. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, James and Hugh Rutledge and her sister, Thelma Breedlove.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Giles Memory Gardens. Officiating is her nephew, Steve Breedlove.
Survivors include her son, Darrell Grissom and Stephanie of Pulaski, her daughters, Deana Wood and Steve of Birmingham, AL, and Debbie Gregory and Kevin of Sevierville, TN, her sister, Emogene Magness of McMinnville, TN, her grandchildren, Jonathon Wales, Josh Wales, Cody Davis, Shelby Davis and Matthew Grissom, and her great grandchildren, Landon Wales, Owen Wales, Klaire Wales and Nolan Wales.
