Funeral service for Charles Edward Denton, 81, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 21st, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Steven Sutter and Bro. Ryan Key officiating with interment in Bethlehem East Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Denton passed away Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 at his residence. He was born June 3, 1939 to Howard M. & Clara Annamae Urban Denton. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Cullman. Charles loved working with wood and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas Denton, James Denton; sister, Breathea Armstrong; first wife, Frances Helms Denton.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Denton; sons, Michael (Vickie) Denton, Christopher (Ginger) Denton; step-son, Joseph (Connie) Whitehead; sisters, Joyce (Ken) Waldrep, Brenda (Randy) Powell; grandchild, Alecia (John) Davidson; great-grandchildren, Reed Davidson, Evelyn Rose Davidson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
