Joan T. Dees, age 79 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Sunday March 14, 2021 at her residence. She was a member of Ninth Avenue Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Andy Kizer and Vance Hutton officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Home Cemetery, Bear Creek, AL.
Mrs. Dees is survived by her husband, Robert Dees; children, Renee (John) Kloffenstein, Jimmy (Aleta) Dees and Vicky (Darryl) Hamilton; brothers, Admiral (Ruth) Tidwell and Freddy Tidwell; grandchildren, Adam Kloffenstein, Josh Dees, Christian Dees, Alex Dees, Mary Grace Hamilton Koehler and Adam Hamilton; nephew, Mark (Jeiel) Tidwell; and great nephew, Isaac Tidwell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Eula Tidwell; first husband, John F. Thompson; and nephew, Tommy Tidwell.
