Nancy Compton Williams, born in Raleigh NC and long-time Huntsville resident, was an English teacher at Johnson and Lee High Schools, passed away Monday, March 8..
Her life-long passion was writing poetry, publishing three books. She was a founding member and facilitator of the poetry workshop within the Huntsville Literary Association.
She is survived by her husband, Ron, and children Clay Warmbrod (Karen), Kurt Warmbrod (Cathy), and Katrina Warmbrod Stilwell (Cheyne) and step-children Randy, Scott (Joy), and Jeff (Carrie) Williams.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 13 at 10-12 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. A private family celebration of life will be held at Nancy’s home. Guests are encouraged to make donations in Nancy’s name to 2nd Mile Development or the charitable organization of their choice.
