Fannie Evelyn “Granny” Kern, age 102 of Clarksville, Tennessee, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Signature Healthcare in Clarksville.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 9th, with Pastor Brad Shockley officiating. Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00PM until the hour of service at 2:00PM.
Mrs. Kern was born on August 29, 1918 in Thompsonville, Illinois to the late Johnny and Ola Jane Harris Jones. She was a member of Pleasant View First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, William, George, Alfred, Richard “Dick”, & Paul Jones; sisters, Stella Neal & Mildred Elpers.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda West; son David (Ann) Kern, Sr.; grandchildren, Darren (Tracie) West, Michael (Sherry) West, Bryan (Christina) West, David (Jerry) Kern, Jr., Kelly (Chris) Bribiesca; eight great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
