Mr. John Raymond Cox of Arab, Alabama; passed away suddenly in the later hours of Saturday – March 6, 2021 at the age of 67 years.
Mr. Cox was born on the 18th of March in 1953 in Marshall County, Alabama to the late John Elmer Cox and Imogene Shedd Cox. Raymond spent the earlier years of his life on the open road as a commercial hauler, he later retired his career to focus on his favorite hobbies such as; collecting toy cars and tractors and loving on his dogs, but above all, he enjoyed the time her spent with his family and friends. Raymond was also a beloved member of the Sweet Home Baptist Church.
Mr. Cox will be forever remembered by his; wife, Judy LeCroy Cox and; brother, Wayne Cox (Jackie).
In addition to his beloved parents; John Elmer Cox and Imogene Shedd Cox; Raymond is at last reunited with his son, Jody Ray Cox.
A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Tuesday – March 9, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
A Graveside Service and Burial will take place at the Arab Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jeff Warren, officiating services.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Cox to his final resting place will include: Jeff Warren, Jeff Parker, Brian Cleland, Danny Vanzandt, Shawn Pruitt and Jeff White.
