Kenneth Scott Lehman, 52 of Athens, passed away on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Lehman was born on June 27th, 1968 to Neil Lehman and Melanie Loynes Lehman.
Mr. Lehman is survived by his mother Melanie J. (Loynes) Cook of Athens, AL; father Neil R. Lehman of Anaheim, CA; brother Brent Joseph Lehman of Dentin, TX; aunt Jill (Loynes) Menefee of Athens, AL; cousin Dustin Loynes Menefee (Andrea Hodges Menefee) of Athens, AL; children of Dustin and Andrea Menefee: Blythe Menefee, and Aiden Menefee.
Preceded in death by his Uncle James Pettus Menefee, and Uncle Dean Lehman.
Funeral Services for Mr. Lehman will be Sunday, March 7th, 2021 at 2:00pm at Fairview Baptist Church, with Bro. George Whitten officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lehman was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Athens. He was considered by many to be a biblical scholar with a vast knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew texts. It was always a joy for him to discuss the Bible and share his knowledge with others.
