Deborah “Dee Dee” Barrett 65, of Decatur passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born February 15, 1956 to Byron and Minnie Louise Lee Thomas. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and was retired from International Paper. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jimmy Barrett. She is survived by one sister, Cindy Brackin and two nieces Whitney Wales and Courtney King all of Decatur. Funeral will be Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 11:00am at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Christopher Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
