Howard G. Bland, age 73 of Woodstock, passed away on February 28, 2021.
Mr. Bland was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from Butler Manufacturing Co. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
Funeral services will be Thursday March 4, 2021 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cassandra Abbott; parents, Floyd and Gadsi Bland; brother, Dale Oliver Bland and sister, Mary N. Griffin.
Survivors include his children, Anthony D. Abbott (Ginger), Robbie Bland (Devon) and Jennifer Stanley; grandchildren, Aiden Abbott, Alex and Ben Roberts, Austin and Ethan Stanley, Diego, Sawyer and Sebastian Bland, Piper Emig d Coda Bland; great grandchildren, Briggs, Toby, Sarah and Darcy Roberts; brother, Floyd W. Bland; sisters, Betty Golden and JoAnn Ballenger; several other family members and many friends.
