John Michael Coard. age 66, passed away February 21, 2021. Michael was born February 11, 1955 to John William “Bill” Coard and Dorothy Nell “Dot” Coard. His father was career Air Force, so Michael spent his childhood moving from base to base. Michael moved to Huntsville in 1974 where he worked in the restaurant industry and then as a screenprinter for several years. He loved Jesus, family, friends, good times, good food, good music and Volkswagons.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He was survived by his special friend, Sheila Trowbridge, daughter, Jessica Cowen (Jeff), and her daughters Shelby and Cinda, his son, Michael Sizemore (Ashley) and children, Jakob Ostrander, Kamron Sizemore, and Makenzi Sizemore. He was also survived by his sister Vicki Isbell (Dan) and her family; daughters, Kelly Layne (Jeffrey) and Alena Terry (Brandon), son, Kevin Drinkard (Lois Ann) and her grandchildren Hannah and Ethan Terry.
Michael had a great many friends and extended family, including his former wife, Margo Wells (Cecil), and daughter-in-love, Trisha Sizemore. He always had a good story to tell and was eager to help anyone in need. The family plans to have a memorial service at a later date.
