Paula Jean Westmoreland, age 56, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date at Maury Hills Church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on October 2, 1964 in Columbia, TN, Paula was the daughter of the late David Cooper and the late Margaret Elease Booker Cooper. She was a faithful member of Maury Hills Church and had many friends at Columbia Central Church of Christ. Paula enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children: Anthony (Erica) Davis, Jr., Crystal (Jamie) Armstrong, Christopher Davis, April Armstrong, Joe (Dee) Westmoreland; brothers: Clyde (Monice) Booker, Meredith “Bubba” Cooper; sisters: Carol Foster, Debra Cathey, Merrill Turner; sister in law, Nancy (Jimmy) Derryberry; devoted son in law, Dwight Kirk, II; sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Westmoreland on November 15, 2020; son, Kent Westmoreland; and devoted pet, Zealy.
