John Wayne Crumpton, age 74, of Haleyville, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Saturday February 6, 2021. He was born in Winston County to the late Jadice and Hazel Crumpton.
Wayne was the owner and operator of Crumpton Plumbing and Electric for over 45 years.
He was a beloved Husband to Edith; a proud and loving Father to Scott (Vicki) Crumpton and Susan (Nathaniel) King; A loving Paw-Paw to Logan Elliott Oliver, Amy (Jeremy) Campbell; a Great Paw-Paw to Emma, Asher and Mae Caroline; also surviving, his brother in law and sister in law, Harold and Jolene Stults; nieces and nephews, Amy (Jeff) Williams, Joyce Moody, William Robert Crumpton, Kelsie Adkins, Brock Miller, Michael Crumpton and Eli Crumpton.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with John Barton officiating. Graveside Prayer by Bro. Jerry Boyles, will be at Littleville Cemetery,
Pallbearers will be, Jeff Brown, George Cox, Randy Hicks, Chad Tidwell, Mark Finley and Barry Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jadice Crumpton and Hazel Annie Glenn Crumpton; 3 brothers, Will Frank, Jimmy Hugh and Robert Lee Crumpton; grandson, Johnathan Sampson mother in law and father in law, Joe and Elene Miller.
Wayne was a Friend to everyone he met, and never met a stranger.
