Lucas Jarin Higginbotham, age 18 of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 in an auto accident.
Lucas was in his senior year at Jasper High School. He was a member of the football team. He loved life, his family and friends dearly.
A celebration of Lucas and his life will be Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Worship Life (old J.C. Penney store).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents-Linwood and Maxine Sides, Jack and AnnaLee Myers, Sammy Brown, CJ and Dean Higginbotham; his Grandfather-Kenneth A. Key.
He is survived by his Mother-LeeAnn Higginbotham; Father-R.J. “Jim” Higginbotham (Nikki); Brothers-Roman Higginbotham (Tailor) and Adrun Higginbotham (Starr); Sisters-Lauren Higginbotham and Henslee Higginbotham; Special Niece and Nephew-Maddie Higginbotham and Baylor Higginbotham; Special and Loving Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Tommy Stivener, Uncle Anthony and Aunt Charlotte Sides, Aunt Mandy and Uncle Jason Upton, Aaliyah and Akeelah Higginbotham, Aunt Sharae Manasco; Great Grandmother-Betty Brown; Grandparents-Linda L. Key, Jimmy Higginbotham (Jennifer) and Dianne Brown; Step Grandparents-Dennis and Phyllis Uptain, Ken and Sherry Henslee; Many loving cousins and countless friends and acquaintances, old and young, that will forever carry their impressive memories of Lucas.
