Ronnie Lee Rippy, age 68 of Greeenbrier passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 6th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends 4pm to 8pm on Friday, February 5th and 11am until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery with Derek Lovell, Tony Ryan and Ronnie Weaver serving as pallbearers.
Ronnie was born in Springfield on January 12, 1953 to the late Pete Cleveland and Sallie Hulsey Rippy. He was also preceded in death by sister, Patsy Rippy; brothers, James Rippy, Joe Rippy and Billy Rippy.
He was of the Baptist faith and a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Construction business. He loved his family, his horses and pony rides. He knew just about everybody and loved to talk and tell stories.
He is survived by a sister, Barbara Lovell; numerous nieces and nephews and close friends who he considered family, Pam Collins, Joe Collins, Corey Collins, Allison Collins and Sarah Collins.
