Funeral service for Lisa Carol (Powell) Whitten, age 55, of Decatur, will be Monday, February 1, 2021, 4:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Cramer officiating. Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.
Ms. Whitten, who died Monday, January 25, 2021, at Huntsville Hospital, was born November 7, 1965, in Decatur to Jimmy Donald Powell and Doris Lindsey Powell. She was employed as a supervisor with EFP.
She is survived by two daughters, Gracie Whitten and Katherine Whitten, both of Decatur; one brother, Chris Powell of Louisville, KY; four sisters, Rita Townsend (Wade) of Madison, Mona Parker (Jim) of Moulton, Tina Childers (Steve) of Hartselle, and Jennifer Askew (Bryan) of Decatur; and one grandchild, Miller Tucker of Decatur.
