Beatrice Pounds Mason, 71, of Lakeland, Louisiana, formerly of Hughes, Arkansas died Saturday, January 23, 2021, peacefully in her home in Lakeland, Louisiana.
Visitation will be Friday, January 29, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on January 29, 2021, at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Studdard Crossroads in Fayette. Pastor Johnny Sims will officiate.
She is survived by her sons Terry Mason (Stacy), Donald Mason (Gail) and Jermar Mason (Melissa); daughter Tammy Denson (Ray); sisters Doris Coulter (Robert) and Brenda Wilson (Eddie); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Mason; daughter Theresa Mason; father James Pounds Sr.; mother Rosie Magaline Haycraft; brothers James Pounds Jr. and Henry Ross Jr.; and sister Mary Stark.
Pallbearers will be Terry Mason, Donald Mason, Jermar Mason, Ray Mosher, Jameson McDonald and David Emberg. Honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Mason, Bryce Mason, Matt Mason, and Michael Denson.
