James Jeffrey “Jeff” Harris, age 57 of Huntsville, passed away January 23, 2021.
Mr. Harris was a graduate of Lee High School, Athens State University, and Texas A & M University at Texarkana. He was a Logistics Specialist with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command and retired after 35 years of service in July 2019.
He was preceded in death by his father, James C. “Buddy” Harris, grandparents, Marshall C. and Ione L. Harris, and Jeff and Exie Beene, and Aunt Clara M. Beene.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Beene Harris; brother John M. Harris; bother of Huntsville; nephew, Eli Daniel Harris of Huntsville, AL; niece, Natalie Harris of Lompoc, CA; aunt, Peggy B. Sadler, and her daughters, Jana Whittle and Lori Wimmer, all of Huntsville.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, January 26, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Richard Barham.
