Brooke Toops Abner, age 80 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 23rd, with Pastor Chris Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mrs. Abner was born on April 3rd, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Johnny and Elizabeth Toops. She spent her early career as a school teacher in Davidson County and later became a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Roy Abner; sons, Keith Abner and Craig (Joyce) Abner; brothers, David Toops and Barry (Hideko) Toops; grandchildren, Aaron (Sara) Abner, Weston Abner, Callista Abner, and Kacey Abner; great-grandchild, Levi Abner; and special friend, Melissa Smith.
