Funeral Service for Betty Dean Slaten, age 72, of Vinemont, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Aris officiating; interment in Enon Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Slaten passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021, at Cullman Regional. She was born May 14, 1948, to John Junior and Willadean Hines.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Junior Hines, and eight siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Gena Slaten; granddaughters, Adrienne Slaten (Caleb Forester) and Jessica (Kain) Davenport; great-grandchild, Kayden Dean Allison; mother, Willadean Hines; brothers, Keith Hines, Timmy Hines, and Randy Hines; sisters, Linda Gourley and Peggy Bailey; friends, Renatha Leger and Galen Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
