Almon Sherrill Baggett Sherrill Baggett, age 84 of the Maxwell Community, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County and a life-long resident of the Maxwell Community, he was born on January 8, 1937 to the late L.A. and Pauline (Covington) Baggett. Before his retirement, Sherrill was employed as an operating engineer at AEDC. After retiring, he enjoyed spending time farming alongside his son Terry. He was a member of Broadview Baptist Church. Sherrill is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Harriett Hollomon Baggett of Maxwell; children, Terry Baggett of Maxwell, and Nancy (Kenneth) Hale of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Holly (Jared) Berke and Jada Baggett; great-grandchildren, Allie, Taylor, Everly, and Truett; and niece, Jennifer Shadow of Belvidere. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2020 at Maxwell Cemetery with Rev. Charles Houston and Rev. Mike Robertson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Multi-County Cancer Support Network, P.O. Box 663, Decherd, TN 37324.
