Linda (Galbreath) Cooper Corcoran of Huntsville passed away on January 20, 2021, after a battle with COVID-19.  Linda, who was raised in Cullman County, Alabama, moved to Huntsville after high school where she lived the remainder of her life.   She leaves behind her devoted husband of thirty years, Mickey Corcoran, with whom she shared a love of travel and a love of the Lord.

Linda counted among her achievements in life her two sons, Jonathon Cooper (Maureen) and Jeff Cooper (Lisa).  Linda was also blessed with two stepdaughters, Lisa Corcoran Blay (Jason) and Leslie Patterson (HR).  Her greatest pride and joy, however, were her grandchildren:  Natasha Oliver Holzheheimer, Jeremy Floyd, Jason Floyd, Kelley Cooper, Erin Floyd, Will Cooper, Lance Cooper and Eli Cooper. Linda is survived by her sister, Donna Cleghorne (Charlie) and so many friends it is impossible to list them all.

Linda was blessed with a huge group of extended family and friends.  To know her was to love her.  She was a warm and generous person who loved meeting and getting to know people from all walks of life.  She never hesitated to help anyone in need.  Her light shone brightly and will not dim anytime soon in the hearts of those who loved her.  She was a woman of faith who is most certainly in the presence of our Lord and Savior at this moment, dancing with the angels.

To combat the spread of this horrible virus, the family has decided not to hold a public service at this time.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund. Cards are welcome and may be sent to the Corcoran Family, 3818 McEwen Drive, Huntsville, AL  35810.
