James Earl “Jim” Franks, age 50 of Haleyville, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Northwest Alabama Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale. Joseph Martin will officiate.
Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his Father-William “Bill” Franks; Sister-in-law-Tracy Franks; Grandfather-Hollis Franks; Grandmother-Kathlene Franks; Grandfather-Jack Kizzire; Grandmother-Vaudell Kizzire.
He is survived by his Wife-Debbie Franks; Mother-Geneva Franks; Daughter-Chelsy Young (Adam); Son-Jared Bailey; Brothers-Mike Franks and Ricky Franks (Sebrina Kirkpatrick); Grandson-James Riley Ramsey.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Franks, Mike Franks, Jared Bailey, Adam Young, Eric Raynor and Allen Franks.
