Duane Matthew Wright, 63, resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, January 14 at Maury Regional Medical.
Graveside service for Duane will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19 in the Garden of Eternity in Maury Memorial Gardens, The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born January 25, 1957, he was the son of the late Eugene and Oglena Baxter Wright. He worked for Heil Quaker for 20 years and recently for Lowe’s for the past several years. He loved to do home decorating, cook and go dancing.
Duane is survived by his children: Sharrod Wright of Columbia and Tara Wright Riveria of Nashville; sisters: Roselaind Bellinger and Teresa Wright, both of Savannah, GA; brothers: Steven Wright of Murfreesboro and James Edward Johnson of Oakland, CA; several grandchildren.
