William Titus Bowen, age 77, was born October 30, 1943. He departed this life to be with his Lord on January 12, 2021. Titus was an honest, hardworking individual who loved God, his country, his family, and his friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. Titus was owner and operator of Bowen Backhoe Service, and was a master plumber by trade.
Titus was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph “Joe” Bowen and Millie Stapp Bowen; a brother, Larry Joe Bower, and Larry’s son, Alan Bower.
Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Taylor Bowen; two sons, Quint Bowen and Brent Bowen; two daughters, Angela Bowen Holzman and Katina Snapp; one brother, Glenn Bowen and his wife Martha; and a sister-in-law, Betty Bowen. Grandsons include Dustin Bowen, Titus J. Bowen (Kailee), Joseph A. Bower, Matthew Holzman, and Wesley Tyler Bowen. Granddaughters are Rachel Holzman Coleman (Brandon), Lyndsey Snapp, and Ashley, Alaina, Emily, and Harleigh Bowen. Great-grandchildren are Jessie, Tucker, and Mae Bowen.
Titus is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Pallbearers are Titus J. Bowen, Joseph A. Bowen, Matthew Holzman, Wesley Tyler Bowen, Brandon Coleman, and Brent Bowen. Honorary pallbearers are Quint Bowen and Keith Holzman.
Funeral services will be conducted graveside at Furnace Hill Cemetery, Friday, January 15, at 11:00 AM, with Tim Gentle, minister of Steens Church of Christ officiating.
Due to Covid 19 issues, the family will apprecreciate wearing of masks and social distancing. Masks will be available for those who want one.
