Katherine McNeese Pool, 81 of Huntsville, AL passed away Wednesday at a local hospital. Kathy was a native of Elkton, TN and a resident of Madison County for over 54 years. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church for many years. Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter: Vanessa Dawn Hastings-Pool and her parents: Joe and Edna McNeese.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 38 years: Michael L. Pool; her son: Joel K. Hastings (Terri); one step-son: Robert L. Pool and many friends and other relatives. She was a loving wife and mother and always had a smile for everyone.
Visitation will be private. A private graveside for family only will be held at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Rev. Bernard Ansorge officating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Kathy’s honor to the Retinitis-Pigmentosa Foundation.
