Ila Ann Motes Brown, age 85, of Tuscumbia (formerly of Phil Campbell), passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mrs. Brown was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family very much and leaves behind many wonderful memories.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Blue Springs Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Whitten will be speaking at the service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifton “J.C.” Brown; siblings, Essie Plunkett, Ruby Gillis, Jean Winstead, Freelon Motes, Kelsey Motes, and Hollis Motes.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Marsha Wilson Oliver, Keith Wilson (Judy), Rebecca Wilson, Kenney Wilson (Kim); grandchildren, Jay Oliver (Jo), Justin Wilson, Cody Oliver, Josh Wilson (Julia), Dylan Wilson, Madison Wilson; great-grandchildren, Abigail Oliver, Jeremiah Wilson, Lucy Messer; sister, Wanda Faye Whitten; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
