Paul Capps was born August 13, 1952. He passed from this life January 2, 2021. Paul was very loving, gentle, kind and a giver of heart to everyone he knew. He loved his family, Alabama football and Chicago Cubs baseball. Paul enjoyed life to the fullest extent. He was a true supporter of President Trump and he loved his Country. Paul loved Southern Gospel music and had been listening to it since his Mother introduced him to it when he was a child. He is preceded in death by his wife, of 39 years, Phyllis; parents, Garland and Bertha Capps; brothers, Robert Capps and Lecil Capps; brother-in-law, Robert Vaughn and sister-in-law Dean Capps. Paul is survived by his siblings, Harlon Jesse Capps (Anna) of Cullman, Ardith Frailey (Bill) of Kimberly, Clara Vaughn of Morris, Clarence “Bugs” Capps (Joan) of Empire, Jan Helms (Jim) of Empire, Sina Beard (Lonnie) of Empire; very special friend Lester Williams of Cullman; a host of nieces and nephews along with many friends. He will always be loved and terribly missed. A graveside service will be held in New Horizon Memorial Gardens on Friday, January 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Brad Lindsey will officiate.
