Donald Boyd Snow Sr., 72 of Arab was born on July 5, 1948 in Marshall County Alabama to Boyd and Virginia Leak Snow. He passed away from this earth peacefully at his home on the evening of December 30, 2020. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and spending time with them. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He began working at Ashburn & Gray at 17 and retired in 2010 after 45 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jeanette Kimbrough Snow. He is also survived by his children: Donald Boyd Snow Jr. (Sonya), Kellie Anita Bennefield (Kenneth), Jerry Thomas Snow (Tara) and Jacque Wayne Snow (Meredith). Grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth Balderas (Aaron), Ashlynne Kara Rivers (Triston Charles), Alex Ray Bennefield, Haley Nicole Bennefield, Kyleigh Rose Snow, Sarah Jessica Bennefield and Timothy Donald Snow. Sisters: Rebecca Lee Pace, Myrtie Virginia Hayes (Donald), Mary Jane Snow, Brenda Diane Snow and Linda Ruth Brooks. Special Family: Whitney Snow. Mr. Snow was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Virginia Leak Snow, brothers: Dallas Edward Snow and Billy Wayne Snow, brothers-in-law: Jack Pace and Jimmy Brooks.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Greg Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
