A private family service for Sarah Deane Brown Essary, 84 of Corinth, MS will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Kendall Frazier and Mike Kuykendall will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Mrs. Essary passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Regional One in Memphis, TN. She was born March 21, 1936 in Corinth, Ms to Clarence Essary and Myrtle Presley Essary. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her family, friends, cooking and gardening. Sarah is survived by her husband of 21 years, Delphus Essary of Corinth, MS; her daughters, Karen McDonald and husband Chad of Collierville, TN and Sharon Emmons and husband Jeff of Michie, TN; 4 grandchildren, Chase P. McDonald, Madison P. McDonald, Hannah Stewart (Kevin) and Levi Emmons; her great-grandson, Kason Stewart; stepson, Tracy Scott Essary and wife Lisa of Kossuth, MS; step-grandchildren, T.J. Essary, Lacy Lindsey (Cory) and Dusty Essary (Charla); her sisters, Beth Bragg of Corinth, MS and Betty Kuykendall (Grady) of Rienzi, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her sons, David Ray Brown and Lamon Brown; her 1st husband and father of her children, Roy Ray Brown; her father, Clarence Essary; her mother, Myrtle Presley; her sister, Faye Frazier (Dannie) and her brother-in-law, Vance Bragg. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Kuykendall, Mike Kuykendall, Tracy Scott Essary, Freddy Mathis, Bryan Odle and Joey Gilmore.
