Graveside services for David Mitchell, age 61, of Lineville will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the New Harmony Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Perry officiating.
David passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the Clay County Hospital. He was a native and Lifelong resident of Clay County. He worked for many years as a logger most recently with Gene Morris Logging. He loved all aspects of being outdoors especially panning for gold, hunting, fishing, canoeing and playing and being outside with his grandchildren teaching them about the outdoors.
He is survived by his daughter Deanna Colburn (Grant) of Lineville, his son, Tyler Hallman (Tori Kelly) if Huntsville, his mother, Mary Jo Mitchell (Junior Mullally) of Lineville, and Brother Mark Mitchell (Hatti) also of Lineville, and his uncle, Jimmy Handley of Ashland, five grandchildren, and his good friend, Nicky Morris. He was preceded in death by his Father, Acie Mitchell, his sister, Elain Mitchell Alexander and his uncle, Frank Handley.
Active Pall Bearers will be; Richard Sprayberry, Robbie Robertson, Roy Blackmon, Barry Nance, Tim Saxon, and Steve Hanners.
Honorary Pallbearers will be; Junior Mullally and Lamar Jackson.
