Jerry Morgan Saunders, age 89 of Huntsville passed away December 26, 2020.
A memorial service will be held at Lakewood Baptist Church with Rev. Terrell Boyd officiating. Visitation with masks and social distancing protocols will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. with the Memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judy; daughter, Jackie Walter (Kevin); four grandchildren, Michael Bryant (Angelia), Corey Spurgeon (Krista), Joe Walter (Catherine), and Amber Walter; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry served in the U.S. Navy, graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Aeronautical Engineering, and retired from NASA in 1981.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakewood Baptist Church, 2101 Mastin Lake Road, Huntsville, AL 35810.
