Willie Dee Boland, age 86 of Boaz, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center South.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Rev. Justin Joiner and Rev. H. V. McDowell will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Donnie Peppers, Lynn Braswell, Brian Hornbuckle,Kenny Boland, Rodney Knight and Taylor Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Clint and Colby Smith.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2 before the service.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Boland, daughters, Shelia (Dan) Smith and Nena (Marty) Bell, grandsons, Clint and Colby Smith, great-granddaughters, Emma, Meredith and Rylee Smith, great-grandson, Taylor Smith, sister, Bernice Peppers and brother, Carlee Boland.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Kathleen Boland and brothers, Joe Ed and Robert Boland.
The Boland family along with the staff of Albertville Memorial Chapel remind everyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the CDC as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing and face mask.
