Betty Faye Chance, age 76, of Quinton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 21, 2020. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Jimmy Chance; parents J.D. and Lenora Reed and brother, Jimmy Ray Black. She is survived by her sons, James Chance (Kelly) and Chris Chance (Fleming); grandsons Grayson and Townsend; granddaughter, Charlotte; siblings, Johnny Black (Sis), Barbara Fales, Joanne Horton (Monte), Corky Reed (Kay) Larry Reed (Wendy), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Betty served beside the love of her life, Jimmy, in ministry for 40 years. She was known for her servant’s heart and love of the Lord and His word. Betty wanted everyone to be able to experience the joy of knowing the Lord. She will be deeply missed by all that were blessed to know her. A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11am in West Jefferson Freewill Cemetery. Bro. Jessie “Corky” Reed officiating.
