Charles “Chuck” Harwell Shockney 80, of Taft, TN died Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his residence.
Born Sunday, May 19, 1940 in Nashville, TN, he was the son of Charles C. Shockney and Paulene N Harwell Shockney.
Mr. Chuck has lived in Taft, TN for the past 7 years. He was married to his wife Mary Ann Hill Shockney for 46 years. He was a Christian and a avid Alabama fan, a movie and car enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Mary Ann Hill Shockney.
He is survived by his daughter, Holly Camp, Taft, TN; sons, C.J. (Lois) Shockney, Taft, TN, and Darren (Bethany) Shockney, Elkton, TN: brother, Richard Shockney, Kokomo, IN; grandchildren, Robert Shockney, James Shockney, Daniel Shockney, Anna Hall, Ashley Anderson, Courtney Clem, Caleb Clem, Rachel Camp, and Brooke Camp; 9 great-grandchildren.
There will be a Private Family Visitation.
There will be a Graveside Service held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Billy Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Petersburg 1st Baptist Church, 107 Church Street, Petersburg, TN 37144.
