Mr. Cecil Monroe Winn, age 72 of Arab, Alabama; passed away on Saturday – December 12, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Winn was born on October 19, 2020 to the late Robert Glenn Winn and Minnie Ellenburg Winn in Manchester, Tennessee. Mr. Winn was a retired U.S. Government Law Enforcement Game Warden and earlier in his life proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. Mr. Winn has lived in the Arab Community since 2002 formerly of the Hulaco Area. He enjoyed coaching youth softball and basketball, working around the community and at the Ryan School. He also enjoyed Coon, Deer and Turkey hunting as well as raising cattle, farming and researching.
Mr. Winn leaves behind to celebrate his life; daughter, Barbara W. Pierce (Brett); sisters, Betty Yates, Sue Keilman, Pat Hill (Duke) and Sherry Bright; grandchildren, Chelsea Wheeler, Alex Wheeler, Ashley Knapp (Will) and Grant Pierce (Brittney) as well as 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved parents; Mr. Winn is at last reunited with his wife, Barbra Lynn Baird-Winn; brothers, Leon Winn and Robert Lynn; sisters, Joy Winn, Myra Pica, Evelyn Haines and Glenda Mullins.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday – December 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilliam Springs Baptist Church in Arab, Alabama with Bro. Lavon Winn and Bro. Ronald Earwood, officiating.
