Funeral service for Jerry James Cone, 75, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Friday, December 18th, 2020 at Temple Baptist Church with interment in Mt. Grove Baptist Cemetery, Rev. Malcolm Carter II officiating. Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 12 until 2 p.m.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Cone passed away Monday, December 14th, 2020 at Cullman Regional. He was born December 9th, 1945 to Roland Fletcher & Ruth Irene Johnson Cone. He was a dedicated member of Temple Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all his heart. For almost 55 years, he was employed at American Trim. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He and his wife were foster parents for 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marlin Cone.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Myra Cone; sons, Randall Cone, Allen (Sandi) Cone; daughter, Sherry (Everett) Adkins; nephew, John Rodgers; sisters, Freda (Euell) Bartlett, Othelia Hitt, Dorothy Basinger; grandchildren, Devan (Carissa) Cone, Zachary (Meagan) Cone, Aidan Cone, Justin (Brianna) Whitehead, Christopher Whitehead, Kelcy Whitehead, Tyler Cone, Dylan Cone; step-grandchildren, Joseph Adkins, Eli Adkins; eight great grandchildren; family and friends.
