Kathy Jo Harris age 65, of Guntersville passed away Friday Dec. 11, 2020, at Huntsville Hospital. Kathy was born on June 11, 1955, in Marshall County, AL the Daughter of Radford and Janice Fortenberry Poole. She was a 1973 graduate of J.B. Pennington High School. She was married to George Harris and she worked several years in home health medical supply. She had worked at Gober Funeral Chapel since 2015. She enjoyed being around people and was always ready to assist families in any way she could during visitations and funerals. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include Husband: George Harris of Guntersville; Children: Alisha Teague of Guntersville, Heather Teague of Guntersville, Debra Harris of Toney and Richard Harris of Arab; 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her Parents: Radford Poole and Janice Poole and Brother: Bennie Poole. Funeral Service will be Monday Dec. 14, 2020, at 11 AM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Bro. Danny Hood, Bro. Jerry Burgett, Bro. James Earl Pate and Bro. Greg Stone, officiating. Burial will follow in Clear Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Ryan Lang, Dylan Renfroe, Zack West, Scott Poole, Jeff Poole and Jason Poole. Honorary will be: Randy Gamble and Ulyss Harris.
